When required, we recommend cleaning using lukewarm water on a damp, well wrung-out lint free cloth. Also, the use of a soft-bristled toothbrush can be used for the removal of dirt trapped in the knurling or grooves. Once clean, ensure to thoroughly dry with a soft cloth, paying particular attention to the base of the stem of the product. A light coating of natural wax will help seal any chips or scratches.

When it comes to preventing fingerprints on brass, satin finishes are more forgiving than polished finishes. Generally our protective lacquers on all brass (except Living Finish and Chrome) also help reduce the appearance of fingerprints.
