When required, we recommend cleaning using lukewarm water on a damp, well wrung-out lint free cloth. Also, the use of a soft-bristled toothbrush can be used for the removal of dirt trapped in the knurling or grooves. Once clean, ensure to thoroughly dry with a soft cloth, paying particular attention to the base of the stem of the product. A light coating of natural wax will help seal any chips or scratches.

Some finishes provide added protection against wear but generally all of our finishes are lacquered in a highly protective lacquer except for mirror finishes, like Chrome for example, which doesn’t require the lacquer. When it comes to preventing fingerprints on brass, satin finishes are more forgiving than polished finishes. Generally our protective lacquers on all brass (except Living Finish and Chrome) also help reduce the appearance of fingerprints.
